For our third mini-zine, we did things a bit differently. Fostering and supporting the artistic community has always been one of our top priorities, and it broke our hearts to see the community hurting under the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic. That’s why we decided to dedicate our this edition to Artists in Quarantine. With this zine, we aimed to give artists an opportunity to not only share their work, but also receive some financial support. Contributors had the opportunity to sell copies of the zine, and receive100% of the profits from their sales. For the first time, submissions were open to ALL forms of art–seriously, all. Musicians, dancers, performance artists, and everyone else you wouldn’t typically see in a zine (in addition to our regular photographers, writers, and painters) were encouraged to submit their work.
